With this SUP Tour in Gran Canaria, you’ll improve your paddling technique and balance with effective exercises that will boost your confidence and skills on the board, making you ready to venture into open waters and explore the coastline…
For me, your safety is the top priority, so before joining the tour, I advise having some prior experience with Paddle Boarding.
Although you don’t need to be an expert for this relaxing ride, you’ll feel more comfortable if you can handle the board with some level of control.
However, if you’ve never tried SUP before, I recommend starting with the class first, and then, come for the SUP tour to fully enjoy the experience.
Keep in mind that it will be a group activity (very small), and you’ll feel much more at ease and secure, thus making your experience more enjoyable.
SUP Tour in Gran Canaria description:
Have you already practiced SUP before, but you want to enhance your paddling technique, balance, learn how to perform turns, gain speed, or paddle on a journey with confidence? Then, this is the perfect activity for you!
The class starts at 9:00 AM and lasts for about 2 hours. We’ll take the time to
review your paddling technique, improving or learning more advanced techniques.
Afterward, we’ll venture out of the bay for a leisurely SUP Tour along the south west coast of Gran Canaria.
In the event that the wind doesn’t allow us to safely leave the bay, I’ll provide
alternative options for you to continue enjoying SUP within the bay.
This activity also offers the possibility to be done from El Pajar, paddling along the rocky coast to admire the natural beauty of the area and perhaps even spot a turtle or two.
Rest assured that I’ll always ensure to offer you the best and safest option to fully enjoy the experience.

- Experience level: Beginners to intermediate.
- Schedule: everyday from 9am-11am.

The class includes:
- 2h de clase.
- SUP board, paddle, leash, and lycra (rash guard).
- Certified instructor in SUP, SUP Fitness, and First Aid.
- Muscle and joint warm-up.
- Brief theoretical-practical class.
- Coastal tour.
- Final stretching.
- Life jacket (optional and available upon request).

- Liability and accident insurance.
Special notes:
- Prior reservation is required through the website, email or WhatsApp.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the activity.
- If you arrive late or fail to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, refunds will not be provided.
- The experience is subject to weather conditions.
- If you use glasses, be aware that these do not float. and you might loose them if you fall into the water.

Some questions that I'm often asked about the experience.
Knowing how to swim is not necessary, as I can provide you with a life jacket (remember to request it when making your reservation).
However, you'll enjoy much more if you feel comfortable in the sea.
You only need a swimsuit, water, and a towel. I'll provide you with a rash guard to protect you from the sun.
Absolutely, remember to apply sunscreen in advance so it absorbs and doesn't make you slippery on the board. Make sure to use ocean-friendly sunscreens.
If the little one is accompanied by an experienced adult, there won't be any issue.
If not, it would be better to join the group paddleboarding class activity where we'll stay within the bay.
If you've never paddled before, I suggest starting with the paddleboarding class.
Once you've become minimally accustomed to the board and paddling, you'll be welcome to join this activity.
Remember, we're in a natural environment, and it's important to be prepared for any changes in conditions.
The activity will only be canceled if the safety of the participants is compromised.
If the class hasn't started yet, we'll offer an alternative date, and if that's not possible, a full refund will be provided.
